Module 7 - Grades 6-8 Literacy Support and Activities

Afterschool practitioners play an important role in supporting kids’ literacy development. In this session participants will learn about the stages of literacy development in 6th-8th grade as supported by Common Core State Standards, identify and practice literacy-based activities that are appropriate for 6th-8th grade students in out-of-school time settings.
