Developing Trauma-Informed Systems for Family Resilience
Trauma-informed systems not only avoid causing new harm to people with histories of violence, abuse and other adversity, but also provide opportunities and support for the healing and resolution of those past experiences. This session will discuss strategies for promoting connection, wellness and resilience, and on becoming trauma-informed in our work with children and families.
