This workshop will introduce participants to the The NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct and explain how the Code can be used as a guide for making decisions when caregivers are faced with dilemmas in early childhood education and care. Participants will discuss sample situations and practice applying problem solving steps to make decisions and take action. Handouts will include the Code of Ethical Conduct & Statement of Commitment and Form C Voluntary Professional Enhancement for the Oregon Registry: Commitment to a Professional Code of Ethical Conduct.
