TALE: Training for Afterschool Literacy Education
Module 1 - Standards, Support, and Storytime

Afterschool practitioners play an important role in supporting kids’ literacy development. In this session participants will review the definition of literacy, identify strategies providers can use to support literacy, and review the Common Core Standards in relation to literacy, especially at 3rd grade.
