TALE: Training for Afterschool Literacy Education
Module 4 - Family Engagement

Afterschool practitioners play an important role in supporting kids’ literacy development. In this session participants will learn ways to address barriers to family involvement, learn about activities to engage families in literacy efforts in afterschool programs and receive resources for engaging families and the community. Participants will also understand the importance of providing a variety of opportunities to write.
