Identifying Unique Learners

The Early Intervention Specialist will provide information, resources, and strategies for caregivers to utilize when identifying unique learners. We will also be discussing how and when to refer a child to the EI/ECSE program and discussing the importance of the caregiver's role in the IFSP process. This class is a precursor to Teach Unique Learners and will cover the background information for that class including developmental milestones from birth to age 5, red flags, strategies to use in the preschool/daycare setting, and a list of available resources, including participating in hands-on interaction with the strategies and resources.
