Focus Family Network Training
Session 4

Family Partnership QRIS standards will be explained and the group will brainstorm how to share evidence that they are seeking, compiling, and using input from their families and then go back to their programs and begin that process. FCCERS rating scale overview will be presented and homework assigned for providers to go back into their programs and assess an area. Providers will gain an understanding of the importance of interactive reading experiences and the need for hands-on learning experiences in mathematics. Providers will also learn the difference between disinfecting and sanitizing while learning and practicing the steps to disinfect or sanitize surfaces and toys and the importance of the practices and what will happen if appropriate steps are not achieved.
