Are you risk intolerant? Do you love to see the children in your programs take risks? Somewhere in between? In order to grow, children need to have opportunities to take risks and experience the consequences of their actions. It is important in early childhood settings to provide environments for safe risk-taking to promote development. Through activities we will examine the influence of risk-taking on development and identify where you can support these behaviors within the context of your program.
