Exploring the Power of Real Play
While most people assume it is the responsibility of adults to provide a play environment for children, this presentation will focus on real play and how children, by nature’s design, spontaneously engage in play. The responsibility for adults is to understand how play happens, where play happens and the why play needs to happen and how it enriches our lives physically, emotionally, spiritually, cognitively and creatively. This presentation takes advantage of Bev’s expertise in establishing inside and outside school environments. Included will be practical suggestions for the classroom and features a slide presentation highlighting the Roseville Community Preschool environment.
