Session 8: Environment of Relationships

Primary care encourages the forming of close, intimate relationships between caregivers, children, and their families. When very young children in care are in environments with small groups and a limited number of caregivers, they develop deep relationships and trust in the world. Planning for continuity of care supports the development of attachments with caregivers and peers.
