Participants learn about cognitive development in children with a focus on the most cited theory of Jean Piaget who maintained children go through specific stages as their intellect and ability to see relationships matures, and that stages are completed in a fixed order even though the age range can vary from child to child. This class provides training credit in the Core Knowledge Category: Human Growth & Development.
