Alternate Assessment Methods
Assessing the progress of young children can be challenging. Traditional checklists and other standardized approaches may not be a good tool for all children. In this course we will examine and link assessment strategies to specific program models and developmental stages. In addition, through discussion and activities we will explore the influences of culture and language and create a plan for integrating assessment methods into your program.
