Ready for Kindergarten the Developmentally Appropriate Way

Participants will gain an understanding of Kindergarten readiness expectations and how to work on readiness skills in a developmentally appropriate manner.

Using an interactive approach, specific strategies will be taught, including a “take-home” project to apply skills within their program. At the second session, participants will share their personal experiences and learn additional methods.

Trainers are Inga Crews, MS EI/ECSE, and Susan Cady, Douglas ESD Child Development Services Early Intervention Specialists, who also provide support through the Warm Line.

Must attend both sessions for training hours.
