Partnering With Parents During Out-of-School Time

Designed for professionals working with school-age children, this workshop explores strategies for developing better, more productive relationships with families. With the after-school program in mind, participants will learn pro-active strategies like relationship building, organizing family-centered events, and community building. Learn how to overcome many of the challenges unique to school-age care and begin to build friendships and alliances with families.
