Participants will explore ideas for increasing authentic child-led play experiences into their programs. Presentation time will be spent walking through discussions on: What is play? What is the teacher's role in play? What simple steps can be taken to provide children opportunities to engage in rich play experiences? What are some affordable materials that can be brought into a program that will naturally draw children to learn through play?
