Class participants will examine research around various types of special needs. This will include in depth exploration of strategies for creating an inclusive child care program. The focus will be on creating policies and programs to meet the rights of children with special needs. The class will also examine the development and application of policies and procedures in communicating with parents of children/youth with special needs.
