We will first do a brief review of " What is autism spectrum disorder". The primary focus will be on discussing strategies to address the communication needs of young children with ASD. We will review common communication problems that they may have ( visual- not auditory learners, echolalia, not able to answer questions that require reasoning, etc.) and some ways to address these challenges.
