Understanding the Importance of Transitions

Managing transitions well is an essential aspect of classroom management and curriculum.

This is a 2-session training with follow up activity. Must attend both sessions for training hours.

1st Session Thu Mar 12th, 2015: Take a look at your own program and the number of transitions children (and teachers!) need to make every day. Examine the reason for these transitions and the impact it can have on program quality. Look at your schedule and ways some of these transitions can be modified.

2nd Session Thu Apr 2nd, 2015: Share experiences in implementing your changes and get additional strategies and support from the rainer.
