Massage for Children with Autism
Participants will learn about Qigong Massage. For the past ten years the Teaching Research Institute at Western Oregon University, in conjunction with the Qigong Sensory Institute, has been teaching parents with children with autism a daily massage program that has been shown to be effective in helping children who have issues and sensitivities with touch. Many children have shown improvement with touch, have become calmer, are better able to focus and learn, and have better behavior overall.
