How to Teach in a Multilingual Classroom

We have the good fortune to live in a community with many cultures and languages. However, it can present logistical challenges in early care and education programs. In this class we will discover ways of encouraging development in both the home and classroom language. We will discuss how inclusion practices can strengthen the child’s home culture as well as help the child and family access the majority culture.
