Home & Group-based Positive Parenting Curricula
Learn the philosophy & principles of the Nurturing Parenting Program. Gain hands-on experience, understand & practice key concepts, group leadership & management skills, and receive feedback. Sessions include: Alternatives to Corporal Punishment; Building Self-Esteem, Self-Concept & Empathy in Parents and Young Children; Facilitating Weekly Sessions; Gathering Pre- and Post-program Outcome Data; Family Home Practice; Designing & Implementing Home-based and Group-based Programs. This training is facilitated by developer, Stephen Bavolek, Ph.D., bringing the dynamic philosophy & practices of Nurturing Parenting to families in your community.
