Fine Motor Skill Building in the Preschool Classroom
A child’s mouth and hands are their primary means of learning about and exploring their physical world. Hand use provides experience that shapes how children process information about size, weight, texture, and temperature. This course will explain when and how fine motor skills emerge, how they influence learning, and how to set up a rich fine motor environment to promote skill building.
