The Developing Brain: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

In this two-hour presentation, we will discuss intelligence, brain development and the myriad of factors that affect development.

We will discuss prenatal and postnatal influences, with a fairly extensive presentation of teratogens (i.e., toxins that affect development).

We will also discuss how parenting styles, cognitive stimulation, stress, and nutrition affect cognitive development.
