Oregon is recognizing the importance of young children's early years and the effect it has on their success in life. Energy and resources are being focused to ensure children receive high quality care and education. A significant part of the support being provided to early learning and development programs is Oregon's QRIS, an innovative system for early childhood care and education programs to achieve a comprehensive, research-based set of standards. This presentation will help participants understand QRIS and the implications for their programs and work in early childhood education.
