Exploration and Application of Social and Emotional Theories in the Preschool Age Child

Participants will examine major theories and research on growth and development of preschool age children and apply social and emotional theories and principles to child care practices. Participants will also examine how healthy social and emotional development is influences by environmental, biological, and social factors and learn how to apply practices that support this concept.
