Peace Education, Emotional Awareness and Conflict Resolution Skills for the Classroom and Beyond

In this class we will explore the basics of nonviolent communication focusing on identifying observations, feelings, needs and requests and learning to guide children in building conflict resolution skills. We will also address any current conflict participants are struggling with and work through the conflicts using nonviolent communication. Lastly, we will learn the essential skill of empathy and guessing other's feelings and underlying needs.
