Children in Divorce - What Childcare Providers Need to Know

So many families are struggling in these hard economic times. Many times the families fall apart and the children have to cope with new living situations. And, what about grandparents and new boyfriends/girlfriends? As childcare professionals we are faced with supporting the children in our care while being a support to the parents. How do we get caught in the middle? Come learn strategies to help children cope with these changes. We will look at behavior changes that children demonstrate and strategies to support the child. We will also present some legal aspects of changing families such as access and enrollment procedures.
