Participants will examine incidents of abuse, the abusers and reporters, family stressors, and risk factors and state of Oregon's children. They will study the impact of abuse and neglect on the brain. After discussing the range and indicators of sexual abuse, they will practice responding to disclosures. Prevention programs will be analyzed, and prevention plans written.
