Zero to Three Workshops
Two Session Training: Building a Healthy Brain & Supportive Responses to Troubled Parent-Child Interactions

This training is held on 2 Saturdays for a total of 10 training hours.

The 2 sessions use the highly respected Zero to Three Preventing Child Abuse and Neglect Parent-Provider Partnership in Child Care Training Curriculum.

When parents and professionals are allies in caring for young children, everyone benefits. Through everyday moments with parents, teachers can serve to strengthen parent-child interactions and reduce the potential for harmful parenting behaviors.

Join Kathleen Henderson to explore how caregivers can support parents and contribute to the healthy development of very young children.

Note: There is a follow up activity component, must attend both sessions for training hours.

January 25: Building a Healthy Brain - explore the 5 R's ~ relationships, routines, respect, repetition, and responsive interactions

February 8: Supportive Responses to Troubled Parent-Child Interactions - explore strategies that child care providers can use to partner with parents and support responsive parent-child interactions

Please bring lunch, group will eat together.
