Environmental Influences on Child Development

In this workshop, participants will learn how environments where children grow up, live and learn from can both positively and negatively affect their development. Participants will also learn about the critical role of family in children’s lifelong learning and success.
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
• Identify different types of environments and its effect on child development
• Find out about how parental stresses impact child development
• Learn how to work with parents to create supportive environments for healthy child development
