Behaviors Are Responses
Many variables can have an impact on behaviors: environment, genetics, temperament, body chemistry, nutrition, brain wiring, are a few. The adults in chidlren's lives guide their behavioral development; therefore, it is vital to be aware and mindful in so doing. This class will explore some dynamics involved in recognizing, reinforcing, reducing, and helping change behaviors. An increased understanding of what causes children to behave in certain ways will also help you develop a variety of strategies to intepret and respond to behaviors an consciously guide children's development.
