The importance of Visual-Spatial Learning

Building with blocks and using 3-D materials develop visual spatial skills and are a foundation for early learning. Examine ways visual-spatial thinking is important in the learning environment. This workshop will help you develop ideas for providing more visual-spatial learning opportunities for children in both the built and natural environment and through movement activities. Explore ways to use the natural world as a link to literacy.
