Understanding Family Dynamics which Support a Child's Well Being

This workshop will provide an overview of family dynamics; their make-up, roles, and expectations which directly support and affect a child's well being. We will also examine supportive and respectful ways to engage families to develop successful collaborative partnerships. We will discuss parent involvement, the barriers, and challenges and communication techniques which would foster mutual understanding and respect between the parents and the early childhood educator.
