The Effects of Trauma and Abuse on Children

This workshop will go beyond Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse to examine the life long effects of child abuse on brain development, learning and behavior. We will examine how human development is influenced by biological, environmental and social factors. We will brainstorm ways of helping children who have been traumatized.
