Quality Afterschool Programs: Program Organization
Quality programming begins with how the program is structured and governed. Research shows that leadership and staff characteristics play a key role in quality programming. In this session we will explore the role of leadership and how the governance structure of a program can greatly influence quality. In addition, we will analyze the relationship between program structure and staff to positive child and youth outcomes.
