First Connections: Development of Social & Emotional Competence

The vision of social and emotional development of children is the development of self, social skills, and guidance. Participants will gain an overview of temperament differences and will discuss the "goodness of fit" to respond to the need of the individual child. This is the first class in a series of six core infant and toddler trainings. This is a cohort training, so you will need to register for all six First Connections Classes: Development of Social & Emotional Competence, Getting in Tune with Infants & Toddlers, Environment of Respectful Caregiving, Routines & Relationships, The Age of Infancy, and Cultural Sensitivity. This is a Set One Human Growth and Development Class.
