Cultural Competency
From Thought to Action

Being culturally competent means more than just knowing about other cultures, it means engaging in culturally competent actions! This workshop will examine what it means to be culturally competent, why it is important, and the indicators of a culturally competent organization. We will explore the key concepts of how to move towards cultural competencies and strategies for infusing cultural competence into the culture of your organization. Self assessment tools and a strategic planning guide will be shared.
