Due to the rapid increase in childhood obesity over the last two decades, it is now considered to be an "epidemic" in our nation's children.   Today one third of our children are obese or at risk of becoming obese.  This training will present the incidences of childhood obesity, causes, risk factors, and what you as a child care provider can do to help your children and their families with this important health issue.
