Analyzing Difficult Behavior
Children's behavior might not be difficult for everyone. In fact, a child's behavior that is challenging to one adult may not be challenging to other adults, even in the same household or education setting. With that in mind, this class will focus on understanding aggressive or harmful behavior in order to better understand and provide care and education for all children. We will analyze the causes, reasons and results of difficult behavior. Together we will explore developmentally appropriate guidance and strategies for these difficult behaviors using the method of child focused analysis.
