Please join CARE Connection's CCR&R for our 27th annual Retreat by the Lake: Leading Literacy with Love. This year's theme is an ode to the educators ability to lead from the heart in their work with children of all ages and stages.

On Friday, May 16, 2025 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm please join the Keynote Speaker, Chris Amirault, for an engaging conversation about language, literacy and the educators ability to lead from the hear. Chris is the author of "Sparking Learning in Young Children: Classroom Best Practices" and "Finding Your Way Through Conflict: Strategies for Early Childhood Educators."

Saturday, May 17, 2025 door will open at 7:30 am for breakfast and check-in. Conference begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 5:30 pm.

This is an in-person conference held in Coos Bay, OR. Scholarships are available through the Oregon Center for Career Development (OCCD) Oregon Family Child Care or Betty Gray Funds; please apply by May 2, 2025.
