Online CPR and First Aid Temporary Certification

Under normal circumstances, online CPR is not accepted for system use. In response to the COVID-19 public health emergency, the Early Learning Division has authorized a temporary exception to this rule, effective immediately and expiring after the Governor lifts the emergency declaration.

Successful completion of this online CPR and First Aid will temporarily certify you in infant, child, and adult CPR. This training meets Office of Child Care licensing requirements as well as requirements for the DHS Enhanced Rate. This training will include a hands-on CPR component to occur at a later date, once the emergency declaration is lifted.

    It is your responsibility to verify that the training sessions you select will meet your licensing or professional development needs.

At this time only the online portion of the CPR is offered. There is no in person or zoom class.

The following policies also apply:
There will be no refunds or issuing of class credit for distance learning registrations that have been missed or not signed into the training.
Training hours and certificates will only be issued to participants who are active and attentive during the session.

All training activities including evaluation must be completed before credit will be issued. Certificates are issued via email after coursework has been verified. Credit is issued in ORO.
An email address and internet connection are required to participate in distance learning sessions.

    Step 1: Go to https://events.clackesd.org. Login or create a new account.
    Step 2: From your my account page click Browse Courses.
    Step 3: Click Workshops & Trainings, then click CCR&R
    Step 4: You can search by ID number or title. Add all desired courses to your cart.
    Step 5: Click on your cart and then click checkout.
    Step 6: Proceed through checkout process with a credit card. Your account will show classes you have registered for or completed and receipts. To cancel a class and receive a refund please call.
