Using Mindful Reflection and Communication Practices with Culturally Diverse Children

Participants in this training will explore how to become a culturally responsive early childhood practitioner while working with children who come from backgrounds different from the teacher. The Deficit Thinking Model and how attributions guide an adult's response to a child's behavior will be discussed.
