Session 2 - Family Engagement and Importance of Home Language

The more intentional and focused support young children who are Dual Language Learners (DLL) receive around language and literacy development, the greater their understanding and use of their home language and English will be. This session stresses the importance of engaging and supporting families in the education and development of young dual language learners. In this session, we will discuss how essential it is to support families to continue to use their home language with their children.
